Patches
Can I iron this patch on?
Many of our embroidered patches include iron-on backing and can be applied with heat on suitable fabrics.
Can I sew the patch instead?
Yes. Sewing is recommended for the most secure hold, especially on backpacks, jackets, bags, and items that get frequent use.
What fabrics work best for iron-on patches?
Iron-on patches usually work best on suitable cotton or denim-style fabrics. Results may vary depending on fabric type, heat level, pressure, and application time.
Can I use an iron-on patch on nylon or waterproof fabric?
For delicate, waterproof, nylon, stretchy, textured, or heat-sensitive fabrics, sewing is recommended instead of ironing.
What should I do if my patch does not stick well?
Fabric type, heat level, pressure, and application time can affect adhesion. If the patch does not stick well, sewing around the edges is the best option for extra hold.
Can I use patches on backpacks?
Yes, patches can be used on many backpacks. However, if the backpack is made of nylon, waterproof, or heat-sensitive material, sewing is recommended.
Can I use patches on jackets?
Yes, patches can be used on many jackets. Please check the fabric first. For heat-sensitive materials, sewing is recommended.
